On 13th January 2013 there is a demonstration on Swanage Sea Front by Challenge Navitus to protest against the siting of the Offshore wind farm that Navitus Bay Dev Ltd plan to develop off of the South Dorset Coast. This demonstration is a low key hand linking exercise to make their point, it is being co-ordinated by:

They are a very clever, well organised, and well-funded group that can quote all kinds of technical reasons why this wind farm shouldn’t go ahead but the whole objection boils down to NIMBYism in the end.
It would be nice if their was a carnival type response to this demonstration to try to make the case for renewables and for Dorset to play its part in the drive to sustainability. If you support this concept come and take part in a peaceful and happy rally to put the other side of the case; invite your friends and networks.
