RISE UP AGAINST N.H.S. CUTS IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE 25th January 2018

Gloucestershire Care Services (GCS) and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are meeting tomorrow (25th January 2018) to decide whether or not to close two Community Hospitals, The Dilke and Lydney Hospital in the Forest of Dean, and replace them with a single, smaller hospital containing significantly fewer inpatient beds and unknown services.

We demand that these decision makers respect the views of the majority of respondents to the public consultation, who DID NOT SUPPORT these proposed hospital closures. THINK AGAIN!

It’s time we turned the tide! The NHS is in crisis nationally already… and it’s time we demanded our rights as National Insurance payers for a properly financed and equipped public health service with decent pay and conditions for staff. This starts by demanding the Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust and Clinical Commissioning Group respect and heed the majority of people’s views and keep our 2 hospitals open and invest in them for the future!

Red And Black Telly: STREET HOMELESS TO BE CRIMINALISED

Occupy Bournemouth Homeless Sanctuary evicted, re-taken, evicted again.

Homeless are doing it for themselves in Bournemouth.

The kitchen re-built yesterday

The  site was partially evicted on the 2nd January by high court bailiffs and police, re-squatted almost immediately and the infrastructure re-built. A second, even more heavy-handed eviction took place earlier this morning 5th January. Dorset police, who can barely be arsed to turn out these days for burglary and arson unless someone dies, were complicit in the destruction of the residents’ personal effects. A.C.A.B.

Friday afternoon

The landlord, local ‘businessman’ Ammar Alkhiami (above, centre) has been described by capitalist-apologists Dorset Echo as a refugee from the Syrian Civil War.

Let us be clear, Mr Alkhiami is not a refugee, he is a capitalist. Let’s not confuse him with the unfortunates at Calais or adrift on the high seas. He entered this country with sufficient funds to set himself up as a property speculator and proprietor of numerous companies whose dealings are shrouded in mystery. He isn’t a young man, so those funds were acquired within and under the regime of the genocidal demagogue Bashar Al-Assad.

We welcome refugees from the bosses’ wars, but we do not welcome the bosses. Capitalism rests on war and relies for its survival on the state maintaining its monopoly on violence. All capitalists are therefore complicit in war and the violence of the state, if Mr Alkhiami enjoyed the protection of that regime, he has blood on his hands.

You’ve got another war on your hands now Mr Alkhiami, the Class War.

The Occupy sanctuary in Bournemouth. 04.00, Saturday 30th December 2017.

All is calm, all is bright. More than 30 people have a place to put their home tonight thanks to all the love & hard graft freely given to those people without a flat or a house to put their homes in.

This fire has been burning continuously now for more than a week come rain or shine, we shall defend this land.

Updated: First direct action of 2018! 2nd Jan, 8 a.m. start, save Bournemouth’s autonomous homeless sanctuary and get the year off to a flying start …

We’re putting the start time back to 08:00, so the punx can have a lie in!

Come to Bournemouth on 2nd Jan 2018, Exeter rd, opposite the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), and help stop the eviction of our town’s homeless and their supporters, you will be assured of a warm welcome and a hot drink.

Bailiffs like to take us unawares so we’re asking people to be on site by 08:00 – yeah, we know, but one day your grandchildren will ask: “what did you do in the Class War?” The greater the numbers, the more relaxed the day will be.

If you like, come on new year’s day and camp overnight, there’s plenty to eat, and supporters on call to fetch supplies.

Homeless are doing it for themselves in Bournemouth.

If you really can’t make it that early, come anyway, but bear in mind we want to get as many as possible safely inside before the entertainment starts.

This fancy vehicle, reg. LD06 SRV belongs to the firm of property speculators that are threatening our community. If you see them, have a word.

Call-out for Demonstration at the Home Office tomorrow (Friday 29th Sept): Give us Our Files!

Join us to demonstrate at the Home Office this Friday, 29th September:

Give us our files! Release the cover names! (And the list of over 1000 groups spied upon by the Special Demonstration Squad and the National Public Order Intelligence Unit….)

Stand in solidarity with those spied upon by abusive undercover #spycops units

Outside the Home Office in Marsham Street SW1 – between 9-10am…

…and again between 4-5.30pm. (We may visit other places in between – call or text us on 0759 869 7591 to find us during the day)

We aim to go in the morning and demand our Special Branch files, giving them till 4.00 that afternoon to hand them over. After years of revelations about undercover police spying on us, they have had enough time. We’ve had enough of police cover-ups, lies and delays to the Undercover Policing Inquiry.

We want to know who spied on us, what information they have collected, the groups and movements they have targeted and the people they have abused/miscarriages of justice they have colluded in.

“No More Delay! Give us our Files Today!”
