Trust the government? Seriously? Do us a favour!

Keen followers of the Brexit fiasco will be aware that the government is stepping up its preparations for dealing with the consequences of crashing out of the EU without a deal. One aspect of those preparations is the desperate scrambling around for alternative ports of entry to the UK in a bid to avoid the chaos a no deal exit would bring to the Calais Dover route. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute and hoping that a frenzied burst of activity will convince the people that everything is under control.
