Also, as we’ve previously mentioned, the chaos and disruption coming from a no deal Brexit offers the government the opportunity to enact emergency legislation that gives power to ministers. What could well happen is the imposition of shock doctrine disaster capitalism where while, we’re all struggling to get through the chaos, what’s left of a tattered welfare state is flogged off to private interests.
