Just a quick roundup of a few upcoming events happening throughout the month:

In online developments, Housing Action Southwark & Lambeth are asking people to tweet at Southwark councillors as part of their dispute over four families living in unsuitable, overcrowded accommodation. They’re also asking people to sign an online petition. Deliveroo riders also have a shiny new website as part of their organising efforts.

BMW workers will be striking on a number of dates throughout the month, from the 3rd onwards, as part of their pensions dispute. The full dates are:

  • Wednesday 3 May – workers at Hams Hall strike
  • Friday 5 May – workers at Rolls-Royce at Goodwood strike
  • Tuesday 16 May – workers at Cowley, Goodwood, Hams Hall and Swindon strike
  • Thursday 18 May – workers at Cowley, Goodwood, Hams Hall and Swindon strike
