A proud day for Dorch.


Today was a special day; I went on my first protest march aged 34 to show my support for Kingfisher and SCBU at Dorset County Hospital which are currently at risk in a new proposal.


The top pic was by me, the one below was taken by someone else on the march and shared on social media. The slogan on the shirt sums it all up!


Our local hospital is a big county hospital, it caters for the whole of west and north Dorset. Our side of the county is rural. Although its not far in distance from one side to another, once you get past the conurbations of Poole the roads become narrower, and there are only two dual carriageways. For example to get from Lyme Regis or Gillingham to Dorchester can take up to an hour.
